― ABOUT ME
I am a higher education professional with a passion for student mentoring and advocacy. In addition to more than ten years of experience working in an academic library, I have extensive experience with the development and execution of educational programming and event planning, including marketing and social media. My primary focus is student success; helping students to achieve their educational (& personal) goals is by far the most rewarding aspect of working in higher ed.
Full disclosure:
While I spent several years doing so, I never set out to work in an academic library. I have loved books my entire life so for a long time it felt like a good. Ultimately, I could not ignore my desire to focus more on student development & affairs any longer.
