― ABOUT ME
I am a higher education professional with a passion for student mentoring and advocacy. With nearly fifteen years of experience, I am accustomed to the fast-paced, ever-changing landscape of college campuses and the myriad of adjustment concerns facing young adults as they enter this new chapter in their lives. I have extensive experience in developing and executing educational programming, as well as event planning, marketing, and social media management. My primary focus is student success; helping students to achieve their personal and educational goals is by far the most rewarding aspect of working in education.
Full disclosure:
Though I spent several years doing so, I never set out to work in an academic library. I have loved books my entire life, so for a long time it felt like a good fit. Ultimately, I could not ignore my desire to focus more on student development & affairs any longer.
